however - it seems not possible:
Change repository visibility
For security reasons, you cannot change the visibility of a fork.
@James - perhaps this is related to my role at the org, since you are owner and I am member. When you go to (example) this screen https://github.com/ClassicPress-plugins-mirror/vars/settings and scroll down, can you set its visibility?
Or can we just make the entire org “private”?
