Probably not. I have a lot of homework to do before a week long photography trip coming up. I would rather put up with one niggle than risk no PC at all

Wow. Malwarebytes shouldn’t break your computer. 
Wonder what’s going on there. Maybe try a different antivirus and see what it comes up with?

We used SpyHunter in the end, but today I got locked out of my 11 year old Photoshop CS5. A patch from Adobe fixed it. Bing is still haunting my Edge tabs, so I’ve moved back to Firefox. I think everything is working now
