Just updated my primary site to ClassicPress 1.0.0-beta2 After clicking the blue button and waiting for 8 minutes, I clicked out; site still showed in maintenance mode… went back in after 3 minutes and it had updated, but I never saw any indication of that. ALL is OK, but I thought you’d want to know about it…

Could you give us some more details on your hosting environment? Sounds like a slow download

I’m on Freehostia (out of France, I believe) on a paid plan. No idea what caused it, but the site’s back up & running fine now!
