Hello everyone! I don’t know if anyone has ever taken a look at Anders Noren’s Legacy Themes, he has quite a few of them that aren’t based in Gutenberg and seem like nice and clean blog starter themes.

Just a little heads up for those who may be interested! I’m kind of thinking of taking his original Davis theme and trying my hand at converting to ClassicPress!

I am a big fan of his (non Gutenburg/ Block) themes, recently tried (partially successfully) updating his McLuhan and Iwata themes on a CP 2.2 installation for a new blog I am planning. I say partially successfully because I am not a developer, but a mix of coding & Claude (Anthropic) prompts did the trick.
Would be super to take a look at Davis… I think the Davis Block is a nice refresh, but comes with the blocks of course.

I have been using many of Anders’ themes over the years and have recently settled on McLuhan (which I currently use with CP). All highly recommended. Clean and well-documented code.
