Anyone offering hosting in Switzerland?

Seeking for a client that needs hosting for a ClassicPress site.

@Simone,

Have you Googled Switzerland hosting? I see a bunch of services that offer hosting out there.

I personally offer a “managed” hosting offer that works with pretty much any VPS or Bare Metal (dedicated) hosting provider. If the client needs their hosting plan managed by a professional, that’s what I’m offering on top of whatever they are paying for their hosting itself. Pricing for my services varies and depends on the needs of the client.

*** I suppose the one thing you need to clarify with any provider is that they are actually hosting the servers in Switzerland, assuming that’s a factor the client requires. ***

@Simone,

While I cannot vouch for them, as I don’t actually use them. I just found them in a Google search, the provider:

*** Their company is based out of Germany, but they have data centers in: Germany, Netherlands, United Kingdom, Sweden, Switzerland, Romania, Estonia, Spain, USA ***

Seems promising. They have from what I can tell data center in Switzerland amongst other locations, and pricing seem “comparable” to that of DigitalOcean (which I presently use) and it looks like they have a similar control panel to DO as well.

If I had a need for Swiss hosting, I might give them a try.

Servinga looks promising.
I’ll suggest her that provider and also your offer for a managed service!
Thank you very much!

@Simone,
I’m assuming your client doesn’t want to host in the U.S. But if it makes no difference for them, here are 2 options (running off the same server).

No need for any bare metal or DIY hosting. It’s full cPanel with daily backups, BitNinja server security, and support of course. Fully-managed if they need it. We can add them onto Bunny CDN, to increase their site speed from Europe, if they don’t mind the site being cached.

Just putting it out there.
Cheers

Thank you!
The site needs a swiss host for legal matters (this is what my client told me).

Try ViceTemple or InMotion in Amsterdam. They are both outside US controls, (except as far as domain names will still be handled by various registry entities.)
You must specify you want servers in Amsterdam or they may default to nearby locales. I have used both and both are reliable and non-restrictive as far as “legal matters”
