Backup Plugin

I have recently migrated one client site to ClassicPress. The website used Updraft for backups, and it was working fine, but my worry is that the plugin will cease to function, and I won’t notice it.

So, a long time, I built a backup plugin for local (on-server) backups. My server already has backups, so I brought this plugin back from the dead. It is now fully compatible with ClassicPress and PHP 8+. It backs up database and files on the same server. I won’t add any remote (third-party) backup functionality, as this is enough for me.

If anyone is interested, here it is. I might submit it to the CP directory at some point.

ClassicPress brings back the joy of building non-block plugins, the same as I used to build years ago, for WordPress 4.x and 5.x.
