I had already migrated to 2x CP, and “broke” something (not sure what).

Here’s my question… I created a new sub-domain and uploaded a backup that had 1.6 CP on it. The original hosted domain, rotcodzzaj.com, is still on the server.

Can I use FTP to write over the folders/files on the rotcodzzaj.com domain? Will that put me back at 1.6 CP? If so, then I should be able to use the migration plugin to upgrade (again) to CP 2x, right?

Yes, you should be able to do that.

If you want to FTP files for v1.6, you should consider doing the same for v2.0. That way you can skip a step. You can download the latest version here:
