Hi @marcoandrei - thanks for mentioning the different aspects of PT locales in different countries and for volunteering!
This is the link to join Crowdin with Translator/Editor access.
- I18n Tutorial - How do I use Crowdin to localize ClassicPress?
- How to deal with weird things in translations - #19 by ElisabettaCarrara
- Approving and cleaning existing strings on Crowdin - #11 by james
The above are tutorials on how to manage Crowdin.
You can also join i18n channel here on Zulip where we discuss localization related topics and keep an eye on the forum. Very soon we will have our i18n meeting (I will put up a poll to set a date soon so you get to see when exactly that is if you are interested in attending).
One thing to note, we need to add your locale first, then import WP’s one to Crowdin so that we have most of it localized already and then you can start working on the part that is to be translated that is specific to CP.
@Matt, can you please add the locale and ping me so that I can import the WP locale for it and then localization can start? Thanks!
