Folks,
thanks to the Fediverse, I’m having a bunch of different accounts all over the 'net and still would like to somehow aggregate all the posts I keep on any of these mirrored in one central place under somehow “my” control. So, idea would be to either set up some procedure/plugin to fetch RSS feeds and convert them to local posts or use a service like Echofeed (https://echofeed.app/) which I’m already using anyway to collect and post these things into one central place using a web method. Has anyone ever tried something like this with classicpress? Any recommendations on either approach? It would be important, to me, to also have images and embedded media mirrored with this… .
Thanks in advance and best regards,
Kristian
Interesting. Doesn’t the Fediverse ActivityPub protocol stand in the way? Or does RSS change it into plain text? I’m not technical. Have you succeeded in the mean time?
