Customiser color variables missing in CP

I am using GeneratePress theme on half a dozen WP sites and testing migration

Expected behavior

Ideally the customiser color variables should show as they did on WP

Current behavior

They do not show

Possible solution

Hopefully there is one

Steps to reproduce

Migrate aGeneratePress site to CP

Context

This makes migrating a lengthy process if I have go in and redefine color variables in Additional CSS.

GeneratePress is not compatible with ClassicPress.

Thanks I wasn’t sure. Do you know if it’s just a case of a few features not working (in which case I can work around that)

Or is it something deep rooted that means I should not be using it if it appears to work beside those few limitations as above?

For me that would be a deal breaker for now with over six sites using GP.

I have tried a few of the themes available here and have to say I’m not impressed yet.

It is deep rooted. However, I have a version I made that does work. But it does not have the premium features you get with the paid version.

Many thanks - I don’t need the premium features. I saw your thread on this but was unable to reply as the (somewhat strangely) the thread has been locked.
