Here is a quick guide to enabling 2FA on the ClassicPress Forum.

1) Access your profile

2) Head over to your “preferences”

You forgot step #4 and #5:

  1. Install a two-factor authentification app on your smart phone (Google search for: Android or iOS).

  2. Use this app to either scan the QR code being displayed in the dialogue which appears when clicking on the “enable two factor authentication (…)” link, or click on “Enter manually” if the QR Code could somehow not be read (or you want to avoid that).
