I’m on the forum now and saw that one other person asked for support so I’m corresponding with him. I may just have to uninstall it and just use the best password possible for now.
I have not been able to find the "Scan core files against repository versions for changes* so far…
You’ll see a search box at the top… type in scan core and select the option that is suggested. It will zoom you down the page with that relevant checkbox at the top. I believe this is what you’re looking for.
We need a master list of all plugins known to work with CP so far, that trusted forum users can edit - just an idea? Anyway, I can attest a lesser-known plugin called Divi Den on Demand (Beta) works fine with ClassicPress. I’m switching over more sites that have value to me before Goober comes out tomorrow.
I think this forum topic is a good start, we will consider a dedicated list in the future. For now, if anyone searches any of the above plugins they will be directed to this topic
Lists of plugins I’ve tested on ClassicPress (I’ve tried to filter out the ones already listed above):

Health Check & Troubleshooting working and updating fine.
Only issue encountered in the debugging info section:
Fatal error : [snuffleupagus][disabled_function] Aborted execution on call of the function ‘exec’ in /home/… on line 363
But I have no idea if it is a problem with the plugin, with the hosting environment or with CP. I just mention it, since I have no idea what [snuffleupagus][disabled_function] means.
