BackupBuddy will set up a staging site. I also found how to migrate a site. It’s quite possible I can do this, but I’m trying to read instructions while watching the clock and thinking it’s time I started the zoo again. That’s the trouble, I rarely get enough time to myself to sit down and work things out. I’m going to do the animals now and try again later…

Thank you. I’ve actually got the back up on the sub domain using two different methods (FTP and Stash) and tried to restore four times now. I get an error or fatal error every time. Now, not only do I not have a working clone, but I know if my site goes down I can’t restore a back up…
