Marking Support threads as "Solved"


We have just completed the installation of a new Discourse plugin to replace the “resolved” tags in the support categories.

This plugin allows the original poster, and staff the ability to mark posts as a “solution” and set the topic to close automatically 48 hours after the last comment.

To mark a post as a solution:

  1. Click the menu icon under the post you wish to mark as a solution:

  2. Click the checkbox to mark said post as the solution:

Once marked as a solution you will see the following on the post:

Along with this there will be an excerpt under your original post:

And a checkmark next to your thread:
