I have resurrected an old website built on WordPress (currently 6.9) and Restrict Content Pro (the paid version). RCP, however, is not getting consistent updates, and it looks abandoned. Payment still works, but it’s not using the latest Stripe and PayPal features. My plan is to move to ClassicPress and a membership plugin.

I have built a membership plugin with offloaded Stripe and PayPal gateways. This means a lot is managed directly in Stripe Dashboard and PayPal. No refunds, no cancelling from WordPress. It might not appeal to everyone.

This membership plugin is tailored for ClassicPress. I called it FX Memberships. The Stripe gateway works wonders! I haven’t fully tested PayPal yet.

While I further test it and maybe even migrate my website to ClassicPress, here is the GitHub repository, if you want to help with testing:
