Migrated from WP!

Hi,

Today I had some spare time to finally migrate my personal WP site to CP.
I migrated from WP 6.8.1 to CP 2.4.1 and it went smoothly.
Did it without the CP migration plugin, in my case it was a small site without large plugins. So low risk.

  1. I deleted all files and folders except folder wp-content and file wp-config
  2. I downloaded CP 2.4.1 and unzipped it
  3. I uploaded all folders and files via FTP (except the 2 from above)
  4. When visiting the site CP says it has to update the DB (takes a few seconds)
  5. Finished, my site is running CP now!

In 10 minutes I’ve migrated from WP to CP :slight_smile:

Forgot to mention, this worked for me, but if WP was installed by a tool (such as Installatron), this is obviously not the best approach. In that case visit the Get CP page for instructions.
