New editor plugin

It does also list the “Media” post type. But without media files, because not editable (I assume). Maybe exclude that post type?

How about adding some basic info and/or the “Typical Use Cases” at the main plugin page as well, for users that don’t read before install?

True. I can remove Media.

Also, basic info is coming. I only launched the plugin a few days ago, and I am testing it myself on a few different websites. I think next week I will hard-launch it, with screenshots, documentation, posts on X, LinkedIn, and so on.

Works very well. There’s 1 thing:
See “Additional Attachments”: I cannot add files from the media library when clicking the “Manage Media” button, they are not listed in the modal.

It works actually, but you need to change the dropdown to another option, then back. I’ll investigate.

UPDATE:

I fixed it!

Just downloaded it from GitHub again, but doesn’t work over here:

You could also add default option “Select..” to the “Filter media” dropdown, to force users to choose.

I’ve been struggling with the Media Library popup for a while, and then shelved the project, as I’m working on some client websites. I will get back to it soon.
