Recent versions of Elementor do not load editor

Expected behavior

  • Select page from Dashboard
  • Click Edit with Elementor
  • Elementor loads it’s editor

Current behavior

  • Elementor editor fails to load
  • Elementor asks if it should use Safe Mode
  • Selecting Safe Mode still doesn’t load Elementor editor

Possible solution

  • Roll back Elementor from 2.5.15 to 2.0.16 - (via 2.4.7, 2.3.8,2.2.7,2.1.8)

Context

ClassicPress - Version 1.0.1+migration.20190313
PHP 7.2
Themes tried: Padma Unlimited, TwentyTwelve, TwentyNineteen
Deactivating all plugins (except Elementor) makes no difference

Not seeing any issues with a clean ClassicPress install, a migrated site and a legacy WP4.9 site ~ tested with PHP 7.1.x and 7.2.x

Under Elementor > System Info…what is the Memory Limit set at?
