Screen reader accessible breadcrumbs?

I’m trying to make the breadcrumbs provided by @azurecurve Breadcrumbs plugin for ClassicPress more screen reader friendly. At the moment, I am stuck on trying to find a code solution that will work in the styles edit boxes after installing the plugin.

This explains how to make breadcrumbs accessible with ARIA and HTML.

I tried to contact azurecurve via email but the form on their website wouldn’t submit. At least, not in a way I could detect with a screen reader.

I have tried contacted the plugin author direct via the website, the contact forms don’t seem to give any positive indication that the email has been sent so I may have just sent about three duplicate emails!

I hope one arrives and highlights your question to the plugin author.
