11 months ago, I was looking for a way to sort taxonomy terms per post. I asked one plugin developer here, but the author was too busy.
The underpinnings of the feature are in core, so perhaps it would be an enhancement for CP? Or just a plugin, because of 80/20?

I use the same plugin, and I really think that this is plugin territory too.
But I don’t have a veto: you can certainly start a petition and see if others agree that this should be part of core. Even better, as a practical matter, if you have an idea of how to implement this, you are much more likely to get it incorporated into core if you could write some code to show how.
