In the past, ClassicPress received some donations without any solicitation. A handful of individuals shouldn’t carry the financial burden of the entire project. Could you pls arrange for Open Collective to open Paypal payments? Or else country specific gateways (for me that would be iDEAL)? Now there’s only a raw credit card number gateway, which I don’t use.

PayPal may be available, but I will need to check with Open Collective. Right now we’re using Stripe with Open Collective, which allows us to get more of the donation money since we have discounted Stripe fees.
I will let you know once I find out more.
