Themes that don't work on CP 1.4.3

I notice that my old sites that use my own themes will not upgrade to CP 1.4.3. Also, a new install of CP 1.4.3 will not allow my old themes to install. I don’t object to this, but could someone point this part-time developer to the possible reasons for this - what new code is problematic - so that I can update my themes and make them compatible again. My themes all use the old “options framework” stuff. I suspect that might be the problem.

Did they work on 1.4.2? 1.4.3 is a security release so it shouldn’t impact any sites except to make them more secure.

I did not use 1.4.2. My previous version was a 1.1.3
