Update to subscription plugin wiped all subscribers

I updated the subscriber plugin and it deleted my entire list of subscribers.

@zudn - which version of Subscribe2 are you using? There is the free Subscribe2 from the WordPress repository, the paint version Subscribe2 HTML and the free ClassicPress version.

A version number for the plugin and the steps you followed to apply the update would also be helpful.

I’m using the free version. Does that make a difference? Downloaded from the CP website. I updated it within my website after getting a notice of an update. It’s now 11.2 but don’t see where the previous version number is available. Am running v. 1.7.3 of CP.

There are two free versions that I am aware of, the original one on WordPress.org repository:

And my free fork for ClassicPress:

The current versions numbers of each are not matching the version you have. These are 10.43 and 11.9 respectively, not 11.2.

The only Subscribe2 on the ClassicPress directory is the same code as my fork, and version 11.9.

Can you clarify which of these you are using or have you obtained from elsewhere?
