Upgrade to WP7

Not sure where to put this.

It looks like the CP migration plugin now accepts WP7.0. Cool!

I am noticing that the CP favicon is present on the migration from WP6.9 and not on the WP7.0. At least that’s my guess. See screenshot.

Pinging @MattyRob and @Simone as they are probably the best people to ask.

Hi @RanWest - Glad to hear you like the migration option from WordPress 7.0, we tested and the migration looked to work well so the option was enabled.

About the FavIcons, is that something you are seeing in browser tabs, or is it in the Admin screens somewhere?

Good work MattyRob, Those were the favicons from the browser tabs in Firefox.

I’ve done some reading up on Favicons and there are multiples places where they can be and the version of Firefox also plays a part.

I need to find a way to do some testing to see if this is something that can be fixed.

I’ve always used this service to generate and maintains Favicons in the best way:

Yes. This is my go-to site. I use it for all my projects. What I am saying is that past versions of ClassicPress used the CP favicon. Version 2.7 of ClassicPress is GOING BACKWARDS and using a WordPress favicon.
