What does /false mean at the end of a 404 error link

I am getting a TON of 404 errors that show a /false at the end of the URL. Is that GOOGLE putting that at the end of the address, or could it be a hacker or bot trying to screw up my traffic?

You need to be more specific I’m afraid…

  • Does this erratic behavior starts when you use a specific plugin?
  • If yes, which plugin did you use last?
  • What are your log files report at such error messages?

I would gladly help as much as I can, but I need more information.

You can start by doing the simplest procedure possible: start deactivating all your plugins one by one until you reproduce the same behavior so you can isolate the plugin and report its erratic behavior to its developers.
