Reached out to the makers of WPBakery, they had this to say:

Hi Patrick, We have not tested the ClassicPress, however we will add it onto our list to check it in future. At present, we rely on the WordPress version as released by automattic team as almost all setups use the same version. Rohan

I have WPBakery working on one of my client sites (they wanted it).

So I can confirm it works with the latest beta of ClassicPress :slight_smile:
