Enriched Editor - forked

Enriched Editor 1.2.0

Originally written by CodePotent was adopted but no way manteined.
So I’ve done a hard fork.

The Enriched Editor plugin adds lots of additional options to the ClassicPress visual editor. This plugin is a fork of TinyMCE Advanced for WordPress and contains no Gutenberg code.

I assume the link to advertise is:

https://github.com/xxsimoxx/codepotent-enriched-editor/releases/latest

Will any updates be seen in the admin panel for plugins?

Will this be eventually added to the plugin directory?

Right, that link will point to the latest. The one I’ve used is for the current latest that is 1.2.0.

Will any updates be seen in the admin panel for plugins?

Unluckily no. Users of previous versions should delete the plugin and install it again getting the zip from here. After that, they’ll get regular future updates.

There was no collaboration in the adoption process so that was the only way to go.

Edit: I have to be very clear about this. CodePotent was very collaborative when he gave his plugins in adoption. I’ve adopted 6 plugins at the beginning of 2021. Enriched Editor and PHP Error Log Viewer were adopted by another person and then forked by me those days.

Will this be eventually added to the plugin directory?

Sure, I’ve submitted it to the Plugin Directory minutes ago.
